The EKFC is a place for productions of all sizes to begin their journey of bringing their production to life in Eastern Kentucky.  Offering services to both the production industry-at-large as well as services for the region ensures that the Eastern Kentucky region will maximize benefits on both sides of the equation helping productions earn the ceiling of available tax incentives while building and deploying a Bluegrass-grown infrastructure of facilities, equipment, and trained professionals qualified to service productions of all sizes.

The EKFC is an organization that serves the Bluegrass first and for its future as a hub for content production.  Our homegrown programs offer personal and group training in specialty entertainment fields like screenwriting, camera, editing, production design, line producing, grip and electric, location and post-production sound, music composition, recording and engineering and more all at the hands of working professionals in their respective fields.

A different approach to traditional classrooms, the EKFC applies learning to environments that begin in simulated field conditions and transition over the course of the program to actual production environments.

The EKFC also offers services and support to all who engage with our educational certifications via online access that include job search resources, community and peer-to-peer support systems, access to relevant information about the latest in production-related news and events available for professionals to easily surpass any barriers to entry for a production industry career.
